1. The name of your printing company will not always match the name of where the file is coming from, so please include this in the subject line of the email. Also, please include the mainline of the order in the subject line of the email. This will help in matching your email to a faxed order.

2. We will not print an emailed job without receiving a faxed order form and a faxed copy of what the job needs to look like first. Sometimes transferring files through email will change the appearance of a job. The job is then printed and it is wrong. This is why the faxed copy is necessary.
3. All files sent must be in spot color (do not send process or rgb color art work).
4. TRAPPING: Clients are responsible for trapping color within their documents before sending files to us. If we need to trap your job an additional charge will be added to the job. Please see your price schedule for additional charges.
5. Save all your files with a file extension. This extension should be the type of file you are sending. Example: .ai (illustrator file) .pm6 (PageMakers 6 file), .qxd (Quark), etc.
FONTS: Please convert all fonts to outlines or curves,
or send the fonts with the files.
ART: Keep in mind art used on the internet is usually a jpg or gif image and is not suitable for high quality printing. For high quality printing a true Illustrator eps logo or a good logo to scan from is needed. A faxed logo is not acceptable because of poor quality. Please include all linked objects with your file.

What is Thermography?
The thermography process is a simple process used in conjunction with just about any press. The printed sheets pass through a powder application, where the thermographic powder is applied to the wet ink. The powder is then removed from all areas, except where it adheres to the wet ink. The stock passes through an oven like tunnel, causing the powder to melt and fuse to the ink. Finally, the stock is cooled, which completes the process.
What is Laser Safe Thermography?
One of the latest advancements in the technology has been the development of a new thermographic process suitable for laser printers and high-speed copy machines. Ink & Paper Magic Makers, Inc. standard is to make every letterhead ordered laser safe!
What is 2 Sided Thermography?
Two sided thermography is achieved when you simply raise both side of a print job. This is especially nice when you have too much information to list on one side of your business card.
Foil Stamping
A die is used to create both foil stamping and embossing. A die is a metal plate that acts as a medium by which to transfer the foil or form the sheet to create the embossed image.
Foil stamping is the most common type of foil stamping in today's marketplace. Gold, Silver, metallic color, holographic pattern and pigment foils are all commonly available and popular. Flat foil stamping is quick and easy to do and requires low cost dies. Most of the same rules apply to foil stamping as apply to offset printing. The smoother the finish of the stock, the sharper the foil stamping will be. Customers shouldn't expect to put small fine line type on a rough weave cover stock. Ink & Paper Magic Makers, Inc. offers a full line of stock specially made for foil stamping.
Embossing
Blind embossing is simple, elegant and beautiful. The more familiar you are with the looks you can achieve the more ways you can think to use it. Ask us for samples.
Shells
If your business card order is for 5,000 total or more and is a little
out of the ordinary (2 or more colors, embossing, foil stamping, etc.)
then you would probably benefit from a shell order. Using this
method of pricing would be an economical plus for your company.
A business card shell is preprinted with the text and/or art that
remains the same on every order. You then imprint the changing
information (name, address, phone(s) etc.) as needed. You pay
only the minimum overprint price for the changing information
instead of paying for the complete card as if it was printed
complete each time.
